Today was much like any day in my life... boring except for a conversation with my step-daughter via Google Hangout. We have become so much closer since she visited here in fall 2014 and then again in 2015. It's a wonderful thing that most weeks we chat for an hour. Mum is doing better today, reports Pippa today, and able to hold down food well enough (what little bit she is eating). And she knows little else, as the doctors don't tell you anything there. We just got a call from Pippa, Bear's sister who lives in England. She gave us news that nearly-90 yr old Mum is in hospital, with vomiting and diarheah, and the doctor doesn't yet know what is wrong with her. It was a very upsetting call, as we can do nothing from here but pray. We don't have the funds to visit her if things turn worse, either ( Read more... )
