Find the good in everything....

Con: The NJers didn't call me, though I'm sure they were having a ton of fun. ;D <3

Pro: Being awake enough to make sure I sounded like a human being meant that I was awake enough to do my grocery shopping.

Con: I spent too much money.

Pro: It was an absolutely GORGEOUS day. The sun was shining high in the sky. I was in the best of moods. I felt like dancing in the streets.

Con: When I got back, I couldn't find anyone who wanted to go out with me tonight, for the third night in a row.

Pro: I had an hour long talk with my mother, and it's wonderful to talk to her. :)

Pro: (No, I don't have a pattern. Two pros in a row is perfectly acceptable. :P) I decided to go rollerblading down by the river. It was absolutely beautful. The air was cool yet summery, and I watched the sun set over the Detroit skyline. I took some pictures...I want to fiddle with them and upload them later. :) I haven't rollerbladed in ages, so I was *really* rusty, but I perservered and didn't look like too much of a n00b by the end of it. It was great.

Con: I enjoyed it a little too much, and was slightly worried walking back in the dark.

Pro: I made it. ^_^

Con: I came back to rez. Does this need more explanation? :P

Pro: I watched a Knight's Tale. Yaaaaaay Heath Ledger. Iwanttomarryhim.

Neutral: I had a shower. *shrugs* It's integral for the storyline. :P

Con: Fire alarm rang at 11:30, JUST as SNL was starting. Since I tend to think "FIRE" when the fire alarm rings, the following things happened: 1. The towel from my shower remained firmly on my head. 2. I slipped flip-flops on my bare feet, and they were still wet from my shower. 3. I did not take my keys, and left the door unlocked.

Pro: Fire alarms actually make my floor bond. *g* Seven of us talked while we huddled together for warmth outside. We decided to go to the 7-11, so I took the towel off of my head, shook my hair out, and tried to hide it as much as I could. :)

Con: I fell on the way to the 7-11 and screwed up my foot.

Pro: Everybody giggled and helped me up. They know me slightly better, at least. *g* And marvelled at my acrobatic talents, as I struggled *so* hard not to actually fall on my ass.

Con: I didn't have any money to spend at the 7-11. :P

Con: At 12:00, we were still outside. We decided to go to the student centre and sit for awhile.

Pro: Had some amusing moments in the student centre. ^_^ Rig talked to some random guy on the phone...it was odd, but amusing. :)

Pro: Came back to rez at 12:30, they were letting people in.

Con: Came back to find my door locked, and immediately fell into a black mood.

Con: Fell into a blacker mood when they wanted a dollar for my damn hotel key to get back in. I was really mean to the cute front desk boy. I feel bad. :S But my foot was really hurting by this point, as I'd been walking on it for nearly an hour.

Pro: My RA, who also happens to run desk staff, brought me back my dollar. ^_^

Con: I missed all of SNL. *sniffs* And I'm really achy all over. Not sure if it's from walking and rollerblading all day, or from the fall. Mixture of both, I guess.

Pro: I'm seeing Chicago tomorrow. And I'm currently eating a cookie. And I know some really amazing people who have been there through the recent election, and all of the good times and bad times this year. <3333333333333333333333. I love you all. Tons. And I needed you to know that. *hugs*

Cookies and extra hugs to the ones who bothered to read it. ;D
