“Draco, someone in your family must've either been really cruel or really liked Christmastime.”
“Why do you say that, Hermione?”
“Oh let me think, first there was Holly and Berry at the entryway, then there was Garland in the hallway and Snowflake in my rooms, and now for tea in the library it's Mistletoe?!? What I don't get, is where did Dobby fit in?”
“Ah, yes, Great-grandmama Malfoy. She was quite a character, insisted all of the house-elves that came with her dowry be renamed to a Christmas and Winter theme to help her new husband remember their anniversary. Dobby came with Grandmother Malfoy's dowry, so he and his family were exempt from the rule. Although, if one of Grandmama's elves married one of Grandmother's or any of the existing Malfoy elves, their offspring has to continue with the tradition from Grandmama's contract. Now you really must have some tea. Gingerbread makes the best I've ever tasted, and Eggnog's biscuits are simply divine.”
