Well, I guess last month was kind of a failure for me.   Hopefully I'll be able to keep going for the rest of August, which I should be able to, since I love this month's project.  It's basically just a mismash of everything I love in comics really.  With a plot.  Somewhere.

Sort of. They take over a host body for the first stage of their life, what you see there is what they look like after they outgrow their hosts. That's something else I'll probably write more of later.

I've never seen those commercials, but they sound awesome.
Most sane people would. I'd probably just stand there going "Oooh!"

digging these killer flying manta pterodactyl whale thingies- i love flying whales in general (have my own species in a plot of mine as well).
their riders are pretty neat too and really fit them- gotta love those horns/face plates and the general freakiness of them all.

sorry, some questions because i'm curious: do these monsters come face to face with humans at all or do they live in some alternate world without humans? are they leaning on a more evil side or are they benign?

Flying whales are just so damn fun to draw, aren't they? xD

They're in our world actually. And they definitely come face to face with humans. Humans are their first choice of early-life cycle hosts.
I'll try explaining more in a later post.
