Supermonsters! Day 1
Well, I guess last month was kind of a failure for me. Hopefully I'll be able to keep going for the rest of August, which I should be able to, since I love this month's project. It's basically just a mismash of everything I love in comics really. With a plot. Somewhere.
The basic design of the monsters has pretty much been set in stone for a while now. But I haven't drawn them in months and there's been all sorts of tiny little changes to them (flight muscles, separating that weird faceplate..helmet..thing into an eye and horns, another set of limbs because you always need more arms). So I spent most of work yesterday trying to get back into the habit of drawing them again.
Ignore the nonsensical notes, and skeleton fail. There's surprisingly little anatomy reference available in card stores.
Ok, Majern used to look exactly like Jasper and Eve..which didn't make much sense because his host was a whale, not a human.
I spent most of today at work drawing this. Meant it as a size comparison between Majern, and two average monsters (jasper and Eve). I might color this later.
