I've been tempted, whenever the subject of Christmas comes up, to pronounce it "Christ Mass" just so people realize exactly what they're saying.
Don't get me wrong. I'm not horribly offended whenever it's mentioned. I just think people don't have an awareness of what they're saying when they say it. The origins of the word have been lost in its connotations.
