Everything seems excessively post-apocalyptic to me tonight.
The low-hanging fog and orange-tinted lights keep reminding me of the California fires.

Overheard in passing, out of the mouth of a high-school-aged boy:
"I'm going to write my name with a knife on your arm."

Interesting discussion. There are some days I think 'if only I could be open about . . .' but other days where I really feel better off that I don't.
Especially considering the number of cross pendants worn around my office.

I've been trying to ask myself a few questions before I go spouting off about something or making snarky commentary. I'd like to say I apply this equally, but I should admit that I do it most often with people I'm treading on eggshells with ( Read more... ) -

Hershey candy reviews
Just got back from a conference in Hershey, where they hand you two Hershey's bars whenever you interact with the hotel staff. Ridiculous. But I did find a bunch of obscure or commercially unavailable treats ( Read more... ) -

As high as I think my tolerance is, one glass of wine will still throw me for a loop.
Especially a glass of wine in the company of all the directors of my office, plus their boss, and their former boss.
It's been a weird day.
