From the farm outside Columbus, we headed south to Louisville, Kentucky, where we met up with H. Our reading was in a book store, and we had a lot more people in attendance than expected given that we really didn't know anyone in town. We stayed at a rad collective house, a really huge place that was actually a historical building. We sat around a barrel fire until late.

We drove through some back country down to Nashville. There was a country music festival in town so there were tons of people. I stopped by Hatch Show Print, which I hadn't been to in 11 years. Downtown was kind of nuts and I preferred to read in a park rather than wade through people on the street. We walked around in the cemetery before going to the show space. No one showed up, so we didn't read and instead drove to my friends' house in Knoxville a night early.

I spent a good chunk of the day hanging out with a four-year-old. It rained a lot. We made spaghetti for dinner. Tomorrow we head to North Carolina.
