So I have gathered more data on the DVD-R problem.
The computer is an HP Pavilion a 1022n with an AMD 64 Athlon chip.
It runs Windows XP.
It has a Lightscribe DVD+/-Writer/CD-Writer (4X).
I am trying to copy files using Windows Explorer.
This is the info about the media: DVD-R 4.7GB 1X-4X Silver Lacquer by Taiyo Yuden (DVD-R47VAL600SK).
At this point, we will probably call CompUSA, tell them what computer we got, and ask them to tell us specifically what DVD-Rs we can use, then by a 100-pack of those tonight. What do you think?
