I've been watching a lot of old television. I got two Doctor Who DVD sets out of the library while we were there last weekend, and watched the entire second half of Series 4 in about two days last week. So, after what seemed like an eternity of waiting, I got my Pottermore email yesterday. I spent an exciting few hours doing the readthrough of book one, avidly reading every little tidbit of new information. My wand turned out to be dogwood, which I found amusing, because I actually HAVE a dogwood wand!
