A few things
*sigh* Apparently my LJ has been possessed. I posted twice really quickly during my student teaching, when I found things I thought were worth passing on. Somehow the dates on those entries got messed up, so they wouldn't have appeared on anybody's Friend page anyways, so I am reposting them here.
First:
According to the Edmonton Journal earlier this week, the next edition of the Collins English Dictionary is set to include the word "meh," and the example they've chosen to illustrate "meh" is our recent Canadian election. I see their point: It was boring, there were no real issues or real personalities involved, it didn't motivate people, and when it was over NOTHING HAD CHANGED!!! Meh.
