A relationship is like weather--largely different day to day but showing a particular pattern over a long period of time. The key is recognizing the climate and not getting too caught up in the weather.

My boss and co-worker surprised me today with a cake and a card for my birthday. I really had no idea. =) There were candles and everything, and they sang happy birthday to me.
