(no subject)
So as of last Thursday, Zip, Yugi and I had an apartment. We've been moving stuff in periodically ever since. We don't have enough stuff over there to stay overnight yet, but hopefully tonight we can fix this. I just wish we didn't have to go watch a play in the middle of the day. >.>
Friday night I went home for the night, so I could borrow the truck for moving purposes. I finally got to bring my awesome chair and some other stuff back with me. Fun times. Moving all that stuff up the three flights of stairs wasn't so fun, but oh well. Driving up from home was interesting, though. I basically stayed in one lane the entire trip, since the fast lane of the highway from home turns into the middle lane when you get close to Columbia, which then dead-ends into campus, I'm not even joking on that one.
What wasn't so fun was how paranoid I was that the box springs was going to slip off of the back of the truck and kill somebody, but fortunately it didn't, so all was good. And now I have the truck until Graduation, which is in about 13 days. AGH. *panicpanicpanic*
I also snagged some cool stuff while I was home yesterday. I got the jackets for Misaki and Spirit out of the way, now I just need pants for both. I got something that I can use for Basketball!Tsubaki, though it's short sleeved. I also found something that I can use for the metal briefcase that Eruka carries around in a few episodes, I just have to put the arrows on it and spray paint it metallic silver! Yosh!
And now I have more embroidery thread than I know what to do with. DX Anyone wanna buy a bookmark?
I also got some fleece yesterday. I'm going to make plushies of Abra, Staryu and Raichu for myself, Yugi and our Lt. Surge when we wear the costumes, hopefully at AWA. And the great thing is I'm going to be able to use the same base fleece for all three! :3
These next couple of weeks are going to be interesting, though. I've got a total of three exams, two are next weekend, basically, and one isn't until Wednesday, the 6th. I only have to work two days of next week, as well. I need to find another job to supplement the Party City job. Unless I get tons of hours at Party City, I think I'll only be paying the bills there. I need a morning/day job Monday-Friday, so I can afford, y'know, groceries, furniture, and conventions. And stuff.
Tomorrow I still have a class to go to, then work. Tuesday I'm gonna be busy all day, because our club is having an end of the year party, my dorm is having a field day, and I have to meet scene partners...DX
Wednesday is free but I have work at 5. Thursday is free as well but I think a few of us from the club are meeting up to marathon the second season of Higurashi. Friday I have an exam at 9 in the fucking morning. DX Saturday I have an exam at 2pm. And that's just this week. And that's not including all of the moving-in stuff we're going to be doing.
