Heeee! You're too funny. Haven't the brain power to think too much about comments only that YAY Off The Grid was awesome as!
Mary Poppins! I laughed about that well into the second viewing.
Daniel and Cam are SO doin' it. There will be sex doing after for booboo kissage better. And Jack has to come visit and help. Because he's helpful.
Anyhoo, so happy that you thought it was groovy, too, since no one else seems to! Not that I tend to read other people's comments unless they sound like they're going to be happy thoughts. When they have stuff like 'whinging and complaining herewith' and a bitchy moodtheme then I avoid like the proverbial :)
YAY Off The Grid was awesome as! It was awesome and fun! *bg* Even with all the wtf?s, lol!

Daniel and Cam are SO doin' it. There will be sex doing after for booboo kissage better. And Jack has to come visit and help. Because he's helpful. Yes, it's lucky that Jack knows how to share 'cause they are all so doin' it! ;) And now everyone will know this 'cause they're watching. *nods*
Anyhoo, so happy that you thought it was groovy, too, since no one else seems to! *g* It was definitely an ep to take lightly. I can't see this one being anything but an attempt at humor, lol.

Am always curious as to why like/don't like the way things went. *g*

I don't think it was meant as anything else :) Starate's always had their lighter and brighter episodes, its just that season 9, thanks to a certain Aussie-sounding, dark horse sex kitten, there were a few more than normal :D Not complaining here!
• What in the hell did we need the "Eight Hours Later" for? The repeat was completely off the grid unnecessary.
It was eight hours EARLIER. And it was repeated because the first time, all the audience was distracted by "OMG, Samboobies!!1!"
I agree with you. That kind of stopped me up. "Whoa, wait, implants...?
• (Why else would he see the doc at the end?).
Gee, I dunno, why would the character played by Michael Shanks POSSIBLY run to see the character played by Lexa Doig...? ;-D
• And then they done sex
And then Sam and Teal'c went off to shower together (they walk off in the same direction. And water conservation IS of the upmost importance when it cost a couple billion dollars to turn the lights on ;-D)
It was eight hours EARLIER. And it was repeated because the first time, all the audience was distracted by "OMG, Samboobies!!1!" *snort* That didn't come through my monitor, rofl. ;) I've got anti-samboobies!!1! protection. *g*

And then Sam and Teal'c went off to shower together (they walk off in the same direction. And water conservation IS of the upmost importance when it cost a couple billion dollars to turn the lights on ;-D) Gee they never stop being heroes, eh? It was very thoughtful of them! *snickers*

Awww. That kind of protection sucks! ;-D
*snort* Sure, spell it out. :P
Daniel and Carolyn, sitting in a tree, D-O-I-N-G-I-T. ;-D
Gee they never stop being heroes, eh? It was very thoughtful of them! *snickers*
The SACRIFICES they suffer through! *salutes them and peeks*
Speaking of peeking... the icon is KIND of (re: very) dark, but I saw this cap and actually thought of you. So I made the icon. If you want it, grab it (but it won't be up long, so... you know... ;-D).
I am more and more liking the the Daniel/Cameron subtext. It's sometimes difficult to watch, 'cause I'm willing Daniel to cheat on Jack. ;) What are we to do??
I liked the Mary Poppins thing, mostly because I've been called Mary Poppins myself! *giggles*
I think Cam is the first on the team to actually "insult" her, lol.
This wasn't a well-written ep, but it was at least enjoyable. And there was leather. Yay! I think it's all in the title, ie "Off the Grid". *snerk* Everything was totally *off* with this ep, but it was still fun to watch. :D Yay, leather!
Right there with you. I kept thinking, "What pussy drug dealers!" ;P We need real whumping. Sheesh.
And trying to figure out who could act more like a drug dealer? That was so surreal. But did anyone else argue with their tv/computer that Jack could have easily pulled it off?
As I said, "Best conversation ever." And yes, I was also thinking that Jack could have pulled it off in a second. The team at this point is all just a little too clean.
What freaked me out was the whole tagging SG1 bit. And they were the first to get tagged? Willingly?
Y'know, I hadn't considered how freaky that is. I just may have to write a fic about that because you're right-that is freaky.
• The whole episode was based on the nastiness of food. Food can kill. even apples
Apples only kill if you don't know what you're doing. ;)
• Cameron called Jackson for backup while Carter stuck doohickeys onto the Stargates. *lufs*
Cam obviously has deep love respect for Daniel
( ... )
Right there with you. I kept thinking, "What pussy drug dealers!" ;P We need real whumping. Sheesh. It wasn't too much to ask for was it? I mean, sure the stiches must hurt, but that's it??
As I said, "Best conversation ever." *agrees* It was so far out there, lol.
The team at this point is all just a little too clean. Oooh, good point. :)
Y'know, I hadn't considered how freaky that is. I just may have to write a fic about that because you're right-that is freaky *dances* That would be totally awesome if you wrote fic about it! I'm having a real tough time picturing it myself, and would love to see your version. *bg*
Apples only kill if you don't know what you're doing. ;) They should come with instruction manuals.
Cam obviously has deep love respect for Daniel. Y'know, every episode just makes me want to slash them more and more... *vbeg* I so know what you mean. :D
I SO agree about the torture. They chickened out again, though I suppose this wasn't meant to be a heavy episode. We've seen Teal'c put through the ringer before, and Jack of course, and Daniel got it nicely in Evolution, but they usually don't do much to Sam. They let Fifth "torture" her, but that was all hand-in-the-head stuff, no physical damage and honestly Tapping's acting in those scenes just made me laugh instead of worry for Sam.
I'm so glad to see someone else worrying about those chips. If they're implanted, do you think there's any way of them being removed when not on missions? Or even just switch them off? Otherwise, that bugs me.
They chickened out again, though I suppose this wasn't meant to be a heavy episode. Definitely not a heavy episode, but still! lol
We've seen Teal'c put through the ringer before That's true. That man does torture so well! *bg*
If they're implanted, do you think there's any way of them being removed when not on missions? Or even just switch them off? Otherwise, that bugs me. I would *hope* that the chips were removable at the end of the day, but that would mean constant surgery and the wound would never get a chance to heal, etc. Wonder where they've decided to embed this chip.
I'm completely freaked out at the thought that they've been embedded with a locator permanently.
*Unless* the surgery was done will Asgard beaming technology... and then it could be a per mission occurance instead of permanent. *thinks*
