So, there's a whole bunch of Ba'als, but whose the original? The chick? And wouldn't that be really freaky if Ba'al!chick jumped in the sack with one or more of the clones. Vanity thy name is Sin. And "Ba'al" and "Sin" have been synonymous since we first had sight of him.
I liked this ep, though the three parter at the beginning of the season was much more fun to watch.
This story was sort of a loose end that the writers had to deal with though, I think. Last we heard, there could've been a whole bunch of Trust!Goa'ulds around on Earth, and what? The SGC would ignore it?
So as much as I'm not a big fan of the Trust arc, I'm glad that the writers are trying to tie up that plot.
Is it wrong to think that SG1 isn't real unless we subtract Sam and add Vala? Huh. Now I know what a lot of Jonas fans feel while watching Daniel.
I found Sam to be... really not there.
I am so glad that she worked her career around Cassie for a while, a little iffy on this "Oh, it was the best thing for both of us." speech, and I totally don't get the "Not exactly." If she's not interested in him, can't she just say, "No"? One word. Not that difficult.
Okay let's see... USAF major Lt. Colonel feels a widdle scared that she might hurt the big NID man's feelings by saying she don't like him that way. Riiight. Can we tell that she's not in highschool? Or Univ/College? or a Soap? Can we get rid of Jack already? *blinks* Wow. Did I just type that?
I do miss Jack. Without Vala, Jack's absence is a little more felt.
There wasn't really any banter in this episode and that's the main reason why I've been watching SG1 since Episode 1x01.
Daniel doesn't banter with Sam. Daniel grabs the dolly full of Sam's boxes so that she can read the newspaper. There seems to be this underlying love/hate thing that they've got going. They've hurt each other at somepoint over the past nine years, and it's stilting everything between them. Undeniably they have love, and would probably do anything that was asked for one another. But whatever that hurt is, it's making them proper. Like they couldn't handle any banter between them without exploding.
Daniel doesn't really banter with Teal'c either, but they've got this deep thing between them that makes a lot of their scenes together really intense, which I enjoy immensely. *g*
Does Daniel banter with Cam? Maybe? We haven't got many scenes with these two together, because OMG!Twins. I can't believe that TPTB actually fell for that enough that they made Daniel wear a beard. Really. 'Cause the glasses wouldn't have been our first clue. They're still trying to feel each other out I think. Cam's all ready with the cutsie nicknames like "wingman" n' such. And Daniel? It doesn't seem like he's discouraging it. ;)
Cam and Teal'c... wow. Lost puppy much? That arm striking to shut Cam up was kinda cute and manful.
Now Cam and Sam. That's one letter away from the mind boggleness of Paris and Paris where pairings are concerned. Are there any Cam/Sam fans out there? *ponders*
