I had a dream that I attended the punk roch academy.
No, not really.
But I did have this oddly lucid dream about my performance lit class (TAI 170 to you CMU folks) that I took last year at this time. Well more accurately it was finishing up a couple weeks past, a year ago this time.
The dream was pretty much about my performance of the second half of Gabriel's speech from The Dead.
I think more at issue was that I wasn't sure if I was going to pass that class after missing one of the tests. If I hadn't that would have screwed up my graduating, which would have been a nightmare.
I'm not sure why I had a dream about this, at all, but it was mildly entertaining. Not as entertaning as the dream I had the other day where Nate and I were at a party and the members of radiohead were there. Thom was in a really bad mood and we were trying to talk to him but were afraid if we said anything he would get offended. Johnny kept saying don't worry about it man, he just had a rough day. Eventually we talked about Spaceghost and the Hanson episode's quest for a comb to comb the Hanson's beautiful girl hair and Thom was happier.
I think its dreams like these that prove that dreams, in general, are very rarely beholden to any profound meaning. Especially because after we left this party that featured radiohead Nate and I went back to our office where we worked because we were paranormal investigators and needed to check in with our clients.
