[On The Couch] 1.1 - Why I'm Here

May 27, 2008 11:01

I’m here because IAB put me here. Or rather, Hal Kellerman did.

I’m working this case...illegal zombie raisings. It’s tied up in a police corruption scandal that’s putting Rampart to shame. Anyway...dirty cop brought back some folks from the dead. Over a dozen are zombies still missing, two were resurrected from the dead, and thankfully? Accounted for.

One of those two was my wife.

Anyway, we got a lead on the case...Officer Hal Kellerman, he’s working for our perp, Detective Herb Racine. I chased the bastard down two weeks ago. Broke his arm cuffing him...I’m not shedding any tears over the son of a bitch. Still, he called me on abuse of power...I’m a vampire, stronger than a few men...

On the advice of my rep, I’m admitting to nothing. But I didn’t purposely break that asshole’s arm. Purposely.

So when the Rat Squad came after me, I called in a few favors. Along with friends, though, I have a few enemies...it plateaued at department-mandated therapy. Discuss my anger issues...determine if I’ve got a God complex or something.

I’ve got nothing but my wife back, a bad guy on the loose, and a whole mess of dead people that deserve to be put back to rest. What’s more? If Racine plans on keeping those zombies viable, he’ll need human flesh soon...and pigs only work for so long.

So I’m here, working the system...that way I can get back to work and catch me a dirty cop. Fuck Internal Affairs, and fuck that stooge Kellerman.

My apologies to the ladies present for my language, but really...the Rat Squad would probably make Mother Theresa curse a few names in the department, I swear to God.
