I discovered today the best way not to chop wood for the fireplace. I now have a lovely little gash gracing my proud and noble forehead.

That's going to cause some questions at work tomorrow. I can see I'll have to repeat a thousand times "No, I wear a helmet when I'm fighting. I got this chopping wood."
