Ok, you have to start at the bottom and read up by entry, 'cause I'm too lazy to reverse the order, but obviously the ginormous post by me is the main point, but the stuff below it gives the context. I like posting my ramblings, maybe you enjoy reading them. Enjoy!

Well, I probably wouldn't have said anything if you hadn't put this line in: "when will they realize that i dont give a damn what god has planned for me...." First off, when will who realize that you don't give a damn? Second, following God's plan for your life is going directly against "the crowd", if you bothered to read the Bible. What would you know about God's plan for your life, if you don't even have a relationship with him? The problem with people who say that they're going against culture are really just part of what I call anti-culture. Collectively culture and anti-culture form what is known in the Bible as "the world". According to Romans 12:2 "Do not conform any longer to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God's will is-his good, pleasing and perfect will." So, as you can see, a Christian is called to be apart from the world, apart from this "crowd" that you seem to hate so much. Unfortunately few Christians, those who claim to follow God, follow this command. They are part of this world and view Christianty as some sort of feel good club. Go to church, have some fun, sing some songs, make some friends, and feel good about yourself. That IS NOT what Christianity is supposed to be, it is Christianity when practiced by "the world". It's an unfortunate state of affairs, but not an unexpected one. It is predicted in Matthew 7:14, where the Lord says "But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it." The question a person has to ask themself is if they will depart from the worldly values and follow this narrow path. I hope you read this and weren't daunted by the length. His, Michael
