So I found out what musical I'm doing this year! It's called "The Boy Friend", spelt exactly that way, and it's basically about a girl who wants a boyfriend. But it should be pretty good, Julie Andrews was in the original cast and it's one of those musicals that's always being done, either professionally or amaturly. Anywho, I do want to get the main part, but there is a supporting part who's name I can't spell that looks like fun to play. The main part is Polly (the Julie Andrews role) and she's the daughter of a millionare and she wants a boyfriend to take to this dance, because everyone is going to have one. I assume there's more to her than that, but I only read a quick overview. The other role is this girl who's Polly's friend, and she's a complete flirt, toying with guys and everything, so she looks like fun to play, but Polly seems more like me.
Today wasn't entirely a rose garden though, Center School had it's graduation today, and I missed it! In my defence, I didn't know it was today, or I absolutely would have been there, but still, I'm sad I missed it. On the bright side though, Abby's father taped the whole thing, and he's giving a copy to Wesley, so I'll be able to see it on tape.
And I went to Blockbusters today to rent a few movies for my Birthday/Graduation/Thank God We Got Through Freshman Year Alive party, but there were no good movies there at all! My dad suggested going today because nobody would have rented thier videos for this weekend yet, but I got there and after looking around for 15 minutes I realized that nobody returned thier videos from last week either yet. Oops. But I have movies at home, so we should be all right.
