ILL ADVISED (and surprisingly not bad) CULINARY ADVENTURES

So yesterday, I was a-stumblin', and I came across this image:

And then I proceeded to have a dream about making these brownies: in dream world, they were delicious and tasted like oreos for some reason.  Upon waking, I realized that expecting oreo-brownies was probably unrealistic, but I couldn't get the idea out of my mind, so I threw together a batch.

It is at this point that I should remind everyone that the internet cannot be trusted, and you should never follow the instructions of strange macros you find while stumbling, especially if they involve microwaves.

However.  It was not disastrous.  I was a little nervous when it started rising like in the picture, but it starts getting solid pretty quickly so it doesn't spill over at all.  The final results?

When I turned the mug over on the plate, it came out smoothly without the help of a spoon.  It cooked completely - I prodded it a few times with a toothpick, and even though the outside didn't look done at first, it came out clean.  Verdict: the texture is a little rubbery, but it tastes as brownies should, and I would definitely recommend it for a quick chocolate fix when you don't want anybody else to eat your brownies.

Basically, they're college brownies.  I will almost certainly use this recipe next year, but while I have access to a full oven and Ghiradelli brownie mix, I think I'll stick with that.  XD
