Not that I actually make sense while school is in, but hey, now I have an excuse. XD
Something interesting occurred to me, and I guess only a couple of you would get it, but I'm going to bring it up anyways. If Bellatrix and Drusilla were to engage in an Ultimate Showdown, who would be victorious? I honestly can't decide which one is scarier - I mean, I'm more afraid of Bella in canon, but just thinking about that "Quest for Oz" game produces the same effect for Dru. And they're both batshit insane, of course. Thoughts?
Right now I'm watching Pride and Prejudice (the 2005 one), which I am constantly reminded is a fantastically pretty film. And I just love British people so much. I was trying to say silly lines of dialogue for the characters (Darcy: Hello Elisabeth, I am looking so very sexy right now, even though you suck at playing piano. Elisabeth: Ooh Mr. Darcy, here is a witty line about my lack of piano skillz to hide the fact that I find you so very sexy!) But then...I just couldn't do it anymore. One thing I will say about Austen - her dialogue is incredible. That's why I love watching the movies of her books so much. I can't stand her long winded explanations of the family trees of minor characters, but when she gets down to the character interactions, she's quite good. *drools* Ah, sparkling British wit.
Once again I am reminded how goddamn pretty Keira Knightly is. When she's not on the cover of a tabloid looking anorexic and wearing inch-thick eyeliner, she's completely gorgeous. The sort of face that you can't stop staring at, you know what I mean? <3
I really should be working on my application for the Iowa Young Writer's Program, seeing as it has to be mailed in on Friday. I want to go so badly. But every time I try...I mean, my ideas are never cohesive enough. Ten pages of fiction are easy. Making those ten pages good is another matter entirely. I don't think I can send part of my NaNo in. It's an absolute wreck, and inappropriate as all hell. And my previous NaNo really no longer represents me as a writer. So here I am, with wisps of new ideas, but every time I try to put them on paper they fill out into the clunky, awkward premises that I always get. Argh. Must kill the writer's block.
The song I'm listening to is fun, though. DANANANANANANANA! *dances*
