Trying something new: No liveblogging (too wordy) just reactions limited to one paragraph and one quote.
Orphan Black 2x04
[Move Along]So far, new characters but NO NEW INFORMATION, except maybe Rachel had, wait for it, happy parents! Sara - still being hunted; Allison - still being monitored; Cosima - still sick; Rachel - still icy; Helena - still crazy and still not dead; Felix- still the best brother; Art - still can't catch a clone; Mrs. S -still avoiding exposition. Nothing has changed: example, last episode ending had Sara at CylonFour's clutches only for him to be crashed into by a truck; while this episode's ending had Sara at CylonFour's clutches only for him to be stabbed by a home invader. Non-spoiled theory: Dario (not his name in this show) is a cop - that's why the sheriff left them alone and why the police car ran by them without stopping.
Survivor 28x12:
Spence: Do you have any thoughts, Woo?
Woo: (silence) Yeah. (just more silence, then:) What are you thinking?
[Follow Through]Even though I'm not sure I like anyone left in the island- its been great game play! Tony's only play regardless of what anybody would do is to play both idols on him and Trish - he'd get 50% odds of getting to the finals. But he doesn't, which might cost him jury votes. There's goes my USB - this is the closest I've ever gotten to finals, but I can't say I really wanted her to stay.
Turn 1x06
[Was it a fluke? And can it be repeated?]What a turn around for this usually slow-paced series: In the first five minutes, we had aforepromised spy craft (dead drop), also near murder of a 'hero', Washington, and hanging! At least, they've decided not to become a Rubicon (which had spies and a great finale reveal- but OMG, those middle episodes were just spinning.
Jim Henson's Creature Shop Finale.
[I hope for renewal]The last challenge was bit a... normal. No drama, either in the creative, execution, or team dynamics. I love the workroom vibe - very professional. Requirements: Creature, Interaction, Backstory, Prop, and Special Effect. I love the least experienced's final creature the best, but the eventual winner's body of work when they review it was overall the most awesome.
Marvel's Agents' Finale.
[Yet Another Secret Base]Meh. Ward is still alive. Patton had a twin or clone. And I LOVE his replacement -sorry I haven't remembered his name, but he's a howling legacy and he's just beautiful, so I may come back next season. Still don't care for Skye but she stepped up the last three episodes. The Fury cameos was so canned it made me angry. On the other hand, Flowers knows about Monsters. BTW, will they change the title next year?
The Blacklist's Finale.
[Just Say No to Wigs.]BTW, it was His Hand - I got that the first time! RIP Meera. I want Tom to be dead - WTF is he still alive, that couple have no chemistry. Clearly, she belongs with DONALD. Also I will only return IIF no more wigs.
Man, I feel overdosing on Finales.
