Ok, well a lot has happened this week that I haven't really had time to mention in previous posts because I was so completely busy that I didn't have time to write much.

Ok so I finished my exams on Wednesday. By Wednesday I was completely exhausted but that ties into the general karma of my life with Wednesday being the tie breaker - but this Wednesday was really weird...

I wrote my last exam - and I passed it, with my mark being 40/58, which is totally awesome, I thought I'd do a lot worse on it and I was aiming for an over 60% anyway, so I'm happy about this.

Then Wednesday I hung out with Dave...for the last time in a while...yeah, I may not be seeing him for a while. I don't really feel like explaining the details to the world (but it's not like someone actually gives a shit about my so-called life).

Thursday morning I dyed my hair - my mom helped. She's had more experience with this stuff. The smell of chemicals made me feel sick...but only for a short amount of time. Apparently, you're supposed to eat something and I had skipped breakfast.

Thursday evening I went to Ioana's retirement party. It was really awesome. It wasn't like one of those headbanging drink till you drop type of parties, but I guess that's because it had people ranging from various age-groups. It was cool that Abman came along, but I was hoping to meet his wife, but unfortunately she couldn't make it out last night. But atleast Abman came and he brought our marks. As we all gathered, Abman received a gift from the whole class: a photo album, and this neck-pillows (pillows that you blow up and wrap around the neck to sleep). Afterwards, we played a card-game called Mafia. It was really fun.

Basically the idea of the game is there's a detective, the mafia (2 people), and the innocent people, and a commander.

The detectives and mafia are determined by the playing cards people get.

Ace of Spades = detective

Two jokers = each person with a joker is the mafia.

Any of the other cards = innocent people.

Basically the idea is the innocent people have to determine who the mafia is. There's two settings in the game: night time and day time. The mafia strike at night, obviously. In the day time setting, the detective has to try to figure out which of the people is the mafia, without revealing himself as the mafia. And in nighttime, the mafia have to decide who they want to kill, and how they want to do it - generally, you would kill someone who you think knows your secret and you can only kill one person at night. Then during the day, the "alive" people wake up and discuss who the mafia could be. The mafia can pretend they're not mafia, and make false accusations to make themselves look innocent. Then there's a vote on who might be the mafia person, and the person with the most amount of accusations gets to make up a speech of why they are innocent. If the speech doesn't work out (which is usually the case), then this person flips over their card and is then executed and can now observe who the mafia is. All the dead people who have been killed by the mafia and who have been executed can also observe the mafia at work (sort of like ghosts).

Well so anyways, then afterwards the group sort of split: some people went to play poker. Then the others went to eat the food in Ioana's kitchen: there was houmos (I don't know if that's spelled correctly), tacos, shrimp and seafood sauce (which I brought along), a variety of cheeses and crackers , as well as breadsticks and this Iranian type of dish. There were also different wines (courtesy of Jason), and beer and my Vex (a type of drink brand, which tastes a whole lot like a strawberry Daiquiri).

Then I went home and ended up getting bitched at, by my dad...because I promised...well rather, he said to be home by 10:30 and I ended up staying later, because a) I was getting a drive to the college and my dad had to pick me up afterwards, and b) I am really really tired of always having to be somewhere at a certain time...always...and even at the party, I was the first who had to leave. That's so embarrassing...

This morning: I actually woke up at 5am because I couldn't sleep. I decided since it was too dark to do anything useful, I listened to the radio - they were playing a lot of 90's songs like Bittersweet Symphony. I must've only listened for an hour and then I went to bed. I ended up waking at 11:30. I guess music really does help you fall asleep lol, oh but I woke up with a really bad headache from the drinking of the night before.

Today I didn't do that much: I ran into Krysta, Sara P, Justin and Ashley near the campus. Sara didn't even recognise me, but I said hi and she talked me into hanging out with them, so I did, plus she payed for my food, so it's all good, lol. They were going out to celebrate Matt's birthday, but without Matt, LOL because he's ditched these things so many times, so it was just a hangout together...We were going to go out to Lasagna house or whatever the hell it's called, and we got completely lost at Merivale and it was tempting to go to Dennys eventhough it's not quite the same as that other place. We ate...really strange food, but this drink I bought was really good - Strawberry Mango Pucker (non-alcoholic - I knew they'd get jealous if I drank in front of them, but I was tempted for something exotic and tangy so I bought this drink).

Then afterwards we all walked in the rain. I saw thunder and lightning, Justin is like "what the hell? it's December!"

I went back to Baseline, dropped off some CD's and a book at the library, then went back home to champagne and a fancy dinner - because my mother and I had finished our exams and all of that.

And that's pretty much my day.
