So at 12:50 I feel like giving a real update

I know I haven't been updating recently. It's because so much has happened that I felt like I had to actually give a real post and I didn't have the time to devote to that. My classes and all have been going a lot better this semester than they were last and some of you know what went on last semester and there has been none of that type of drama this semester. I actually get accounting now even though the teacher has decided to kick our buts by collecting homework that he never did before and giving us small quizes on our reading from the night before. My lessons are going well too. I registered for classes next semester and I am basically taking a fluff semester. I'm taking: 2 different music technology classes, horn, piano, economics(micro), Choral arranging, business calculus and then I'm starting voice lessons back up with Barry (hopefully that will go well after a semester away) I'm never going to graduate.
We've been having troubles with our neighbors here at the campus minisrty house and mainly with problems with having so many students living in one single family house that the neighbors are scrambling for excuses to get bellarmine students from living in the houses so the neighborhood basically had a meeting with the zoning committee and all and we have to move out of the Campus Ministry house next year. Lucky for me I was already planning on moving anyway. I'm moving in with Alli and Jessica once we find a house or apartment we can all agree on... that's going to be difficult.

As a bunch of you know I didn't go home for Spring Break. I stayed in Louisville and then also took a three day trip to Chicago in there too. I went with Alli, Jason and Wesley who by the way I've started dating. So yes finally after three years I am dating again. I really like Wes and I have a lot of fun with him... but let me tell about Spring Break. Before Chicago I went the first weekend up to Cincinatti to go to one of Alicia's choir concerts and to see her since I hadn't seen her in almost a year... a long time to be away from your siamese twin. Well Wesley decided that he wanted to see Alicia too. So we drove up there and spent the night. I also got to see Aaron too. I miss him making fun of Dave a lot. Well we ended up going to IHOP which they don't have in Louisville and I haven't been home in three months so it was really good. I miss Alicia again. Wes and I drove back the next day and took the more scenic route back to his house so I could drop him off. I met his family(I had already met his parents a few times but not his siblings) so I ended up staying a bit longer than I intended, played cards with his family(a game I didn't know called Buck Pitch) So that was really nice. Went to Chapel that Sunday and sang, Monday I think was hanging out with Alli, I can't remember. Tuesday I ended up going with Wesley to his grandparent's house. They're out in Bullitt County and so it took a while to get there. I love his grandparents, Ma and Pa. They were so kind to me and it was a real genuine kindness too that's somewhat rare, let me explain... a lot of people are kind but it's out of politeness or because they feel it is right. Ma and Pa don't have a mean bone in their bodies, they permiate kindness so they just make you want to smile all the time, especially when Pa had made Mincemeat cookies... sooo good :)Well we spent a good day there doing nothing really. If there is one thing I learned about Wes' family is that they all love to play games, especially cards. We left Ma and Pa's and headed back for Bellarmine. Once there I realized(after and hour of driving) that I had left my purse at their house... Wes had a play rehersal he had to be at so I called security and had them key me into the campus ministry house to get my spare car keys(Wes had driven to his grandparent's house) and then drove carefully with out my driver's liscense back to their house.

So the next day was our trip to Chicago. We had a flight out at 11am I think. Jessica drove us all to the airport after Wes had come over at 8am because his mom dropped him off so I could take him over to Alli and Jessica's to go. So we got to the airport and took the hour flight to Chicago. First this on our itinerary was to go to the hotel. It was really rather nice, the Seneca Hilton. Right near a lot of shopping. Alli and Jason headed off to Northwetern's campus to do a tour and audition for graduate school and Wes and I decided we'd do something different. We went off to the Aquarium. It was a lot of fun, especially the sharks and otters. I also liked spending a lot of time with him. We all met up and then wentto go see Wicked which was the main reason for the trip. It was awesome. I loved the entire show:) For those of you who don't know Wicked it's a broadway show that is based off of a retelling of the Wizard of Oz. Kind of what the Wicked Witch of the West was really like and her back story during the "Dorothy" episode. Ordered Chicago pizza to the hotel room when we got back... probably the best pizza I've had to date. We got up pretty early the next morning and went to breakfast at a cute little diner and I had banana nut waffles... yumm!! We ended up going to the Navy Pier but most things were closed. We went on the ferris wheel though so that was cool. We ended up going shopping and my highlight was the Virgin Records megastore... :) We went back and took naps and got ready for the other musical we went and saw 'I Love You, You're Perfect, Now Change' We ended up in a really small theater, a black box really and we were in the second row but basically right next to the stage so the actors were basically in our faces. It was a great show too. Humm... I got a little drunk that night too... Alli, Jason and I got drinks at the wine bar connected to our hotel and ended up sharing a bottle of really, really good wine. I wish I rememberedthe name of it. Yeah won't talk about that. We ended up getting up and heading for the airport in the morning and basically dragging ourselves out. It was a great trip too. The rest of the break I spent with Wesley.

So this whole Wesley thing is actually pretty recent. Well I guess the only thing recent is us making it official. I actually got a call from Dad this weekend and told him about Wes and he was a bit surprised but pretty okay with it. So I feel better. Bd news from Dad though. I probably won't get to really go home for Easter Break because grandma is a bit sick and I think I'll be flying in on Wednesday night and Thursday morning we're driving to Ohio and coming back late on Sunday night and I fly back to Louisville on Monday morning. This is all dependent on Mom and if she gets work off.

So I guess I'll leave that for now since I do have to get some sleep... haven't slept very much in the last three/four nights, too much homework, sick and stress... ack! Oh well. Hope all of you are doing well :)
