Ben Renshaw's advice
from THE SECRECTS OF HAPPINESS (100 WAYS TO TRUE FULFILMENT)
"10. SIZE DOES MATTER
When you're a tourist faced with something grand like the Eiffel Tour, the Golden Gate Bridge or the Taj Majal, its easy to lose youself in the enormity of the spectacle and forget the importance of the details that have gone into its making.
This is true of life itself. We can become overwhelmed by the apparent magnitude of it all and ignore the extraordinary detail that goes into its creation. Its time to refocus your binoculars on the small details that occur each moment and which if valued addup to make life worth living.
When I ask people what makes them happy, they talk about little things such as a smile, a kind gesture, a bunch of flowers or somebody just saying thank you.
Once you adopt this attitude you will recognize that each moment is filled with a potential gift
TIP Enjoy the little details of today"
I think its very important not to see your life like a global failed plan but as a sum of small nice moments.
Tips for overcoming depression in Athens, GREECE
from my own experience
It is a good idea to go to Venizelos airport McDonald's. This big modern airport is connected with Athens by metro line, and it takes you no more than half an hour to go there. From the McDonald's windows you can admire a magnificent view of taking off and landing planes.
It is situated in the departing area but everyone can go there taking stairs leading up from the Departure Hall. You are not going to travel but the view of taking off planes will improve your mood. An everyday routine break always has a positive effect !
Mcdonald's snacks are cheap you so you don't need a lot of money.
