Had a meeting with the Principal and the testing lady today about G. I knew they were going to try to convince me not to get him tested yet. And they did. But, in return I got a promise that when G's teacher comes back to the school (she broke her wrist), the Principal, she, and I will get together and brainstorm ways to keep him engaged in class. Towards the third quarter of Kindergarten, G will be tested for Gifted so that his GIEP and everything can be done by the end of the year. Then next year he can start right into the program.
