Yuletide Letter
Hi! YAY YULETIDE! Okay, I don't even know if I'm easy or not, so I'll just tell you what I'll tell you and you can decide.
General things I like: HURT/COMFORT. HAPPY ENDINGS. Everything else is just a plus. Found family, self-esteem issues, comfort food, blankets, cuddling.
General things I really, really do not like: partner betrayal, mpreg, character death, incest, self-harm/suicide.
I have no strong feelings about sex. Half the time I skip over it. Do with that what you will.
Political Animals: I'm really interested in Doug and Susan's relationship, but I'm NOT interested in cheating, so if you DO want to write about that, he and Anne have to have gotten a divorce at some point, and not because Anne is horrendous, just because they probably shouldn't have gotten married in the first place. OR, I'm really interested in the friendship between Susan and Elaine, so you can do anything with that. And TJ, well, I just want TJ to be happy. So feel free to do whatever you want there. I like all that.
Kings: I really love the dynamics between Jack and Michelle, and kind of wish he could redeem himself to her. I also really love the dynamics between David and Jack and think they should have it out and be friends forever. (I may be really really attached to Jonathan and David's biblical friendship...) I just like character fics, is what it comes down to.
Snowpiercer: I was hesitant to request this b/c of the character selection. I'm really just interested in Yona and Tim making it out and being fine and happy and alive. I'm fine with however that happens, if Curtis is there, great, if not, fine. If Tim thinks about Tanya a lot, I think that's reasonable, and she's one of the listed characters, so that's a good way to include her, but I'm more interested in what happens going forward than in backward looking fic. That said, there could be some really excellent fic about Tanya and others whipping Curtis into shape over the years.
Night Angel Trilogy: Another one where I was a little nervous, given the character selection, because the character I love the most is Vi (Viridiana Sovari) and how her and Kyle go from the end of the trilogy, who she becomes. But again, in general, I just like forward-looking stories, and Gwinvere is awesome, how the hell Logan's going to pull himself together is a good question, how Jenine handles his damage. I mean, I would love, LOVE, LOVE Vi to be present somewhere, but I just want to see how things are going for any of these characters after the events of the books.
