Washington Post has a sickening article about an explicit example of the administration choosing the interests of corporations over those of the people. In this one, the Health and Human Services Department has softened a campaign to encourage women to breastfeed to satisfy the lobbying by the formula companies. On their request, the HHS has

Interesting that the only people in government work that exhibit a conscience are the scientists.

This is even more interesting in light of the reaction of the Catholic church to Amnesty International coming out in support of reproductive freedom. The Church is also so very interested in potential lives, as opposed to the quality of life for the mothers and kids.
