anti-drug ads

there's a certain "above the influence" ad campaign i'm sure you've all seen. in one, a teen girl is talking on her cell phone about her crazy weekend.... turns out some pictures were taken of her in a compromising position.... she claims she doesn't even remember, she was so high. in another, a college-age guy is telling his friend on the phone about some killer party.... he asks "how did she get home? man i was really high.... you know i'm not really like that" (i'm paraphrasing, you know how it goes)
well, take those ads and replace the word "high" with the word "drunk" and they make PERFECT SENSE. i have smoked a lot of pot in my day, and done a decent amount of other drugs, and i usually remember pretty much everything that goes on. drinking, on the other hand, is a totally different story. people get blackout drunk all the time. the only reason these commercials say "high" instead of "drunk" is because alcohol is legal and pot is not. total bullshit. alcohol is way, way, way more harmful. totally fucked up, man.
