Oh, Arrow, this is lovely.

Sleep was difficult for Fraser. There was no easy slide between waking and dreaming; instead, he was caught in the unforgiving borderland between, where all of his deep-seated fears were granted hard-edged reality. At times like those there was no relief from his innate existentialism. This was it, then. The days rolling by, cold and blank. He was merely a speck on an endless expanse of unbroken snow, and he would die someday, alone.

Fraser, so lost to his grief, unable to sleep, unable to eat, ignoring the world around him, alone. So alone. His anger and grief keeping Ray away...

I really loved this a lot. Thank you for sharing.

Thanks, sweetheart. I'm sorry to torment the boys so.

My heart! Dear God! My heart! When Fraser opened the woodshed and found a ballroom I actually had tears in my eyes.

Perfect - like all your stuff.

Waaaaaaa, sad but awesome. The "hands full of ground meat" was nice Due-South-ian humorous touch, too.

He was charming.
WORDY MCWORD OF THE CLAN MCWORD!

"Ben-ben, Benton-buddy, Frase-man, Fray of la Mancha."
He cared for me. And I brought him here to be near me, and so, he died.
(>___<) *bawls*
*clings so hard you can't pry me off with a crowbar*

the ending (and everything that came after Ray came back) is absolutely gorgeous, but i'm still not recovered from bawling..

thank you for this heart-wrenching gutting warming and beautiful story! ♥

Oh, Arrow...

I cried through this entire piece. Am still crying.

And it's so beautiful... I can't say a lot more right now, because, crying.

But the image of Ray under the mirror ball...I don't think I'll ever forget it.

You are amazing. More later, I hope. Meanwhile I gotta get some tissues. :)

*clings*

*hands you tissues*

Snarky...isn't that piece just...heartbreakingly beautiful?

I will never be able to write something like this with these characters. I can't go there, I can't. Not as an author.

Which makes me even more impressed that Arrow could.

Such a stunning piece. Ray's so...Ray. Writing in the book! OMG Didn't that break you?...

...*cries more*

We need our Ray! I need Ray!

I think this is what hurts so much. He's a ghost to us, too. Not real. How is he not real?

*comes unglued*

*pets JS and snarky*

I ran out of tissues for this one...

I will never be able to write something like this with these characters. I can't go there, I can't. Not as an author.

Maybe not, JS, but you made me cry for days with Tip, Slip, Tumble...
