703 Livingston: Day 7
I realize more and more that the only difference between Syracuse (during the summer) and home is that I don't have my mom breathing down my neck about everything. There's still pretty much nothing to do. I printed out all the Orange Peels while in the band office and it took 3 days to do it because Fran insisted they be in color and the color printer is slow. So in between print jobs, I was just surfing the internet, sending out emails and talking to people while stalking the rookies on facebook. Those are done now so Monday when Jen comes back, she can collate and staple them.
Thursday was nice because I got to see people. Andy came back into the office so I was talking to him (which the more and more I do it, the less and less awkward it becomes) and then Ashley came in which was a lot of fun. After work Ashley and I went to 703 and just hung out. Then I went to dinner with Kern and it was an overall good day. Yesterday I hung out with Andrea and that was pretty much it. THANKFULLY Alex and Jackie get back today, in about 2 1/2 hours and we're heading to Taste of Syracuse with Andrea tonight. Mike never ended coming up, which wasn't a big surprise to me, but claims he'll come up tomorrow. And Jen comes back and I'm helping her move in to her new place.
The internship starts Monday. I'm looking forward to that and having something to do all day. The only thing I don't like is the wearing jeans in this 90 degree 80% humidity weather (since I'm in a lab and don't want to burn my leg off) and having to be at the lab at 7 am, which means I leave my house at 6:30. Other than that, I can't wait to start my work on condom lubricants. And apparently people think I'm joking when I say that... I'm not, it's the project I was assigned to.
I guess I'll head back to 703 to clean up. I left to go to the mall this morning out the front door and someone (it WASN'T me) broke the bottom glass pane of first door. I couldn't even open the door to get out because of this huge piece in front of it. I found an orange parking barrel on our porch so I think it has to do with that... and maybe a drunk Watson. So I have to clean that up before Alex gets back and sees it.
We get internet and cable Tuesday and will probably get the TV tomorrow, I'm excited I don't have to hang out in Kimmel with all the weird people (this one kid is always here at the same computer, and most of the time he's asleep at it)
