This is mainly for my friends at home seeing as everyone at school who reads this already knows. A good friend of mine is in some trouble. His dad has a rare disease called systemic scleroderma, which hardens the skin lungs and other tissue and he currently won't see 2009. There is a surgery that could save him but because it's experimental, their insurance won't cover it. The surgery unfortunatly costs $140,000 (college tuition people!!) and obviously their family can't afford this. The SUMB, my fraternity, and my friends on campus are raising as much as we can to help his family pay for this. If you can help AT ALL please contact me, call me, e-mail me, leave a comment. Start something on your campus, save some money from going to the bars or drinking one night and send me a few bucks. I've never been serious about anything like this and you usually aren't until it happens to you or a very close friend.
