More on drone strikes

In my first post back in over a year, I said I was gonna post just one more YouTube video and then stop for a while. Nobody asked me to stop, but I figured that having post after post of nothing but embedded videos was kind of tiresome to anybody following this, so I wanted to get out of the habit.

Thing is, I just watched something that makes me wish I hadn't made that promise. I'm not gonna embed it, but if you've got about six minutes then watch it here. If you don't feel like it, then here's a very brief summary: they're not being particularly careful to avoid killing civilians, sometimes the strikes are ordered without them knowing for sure if there are terrorists in the target area or not, and it's common for them to "double tap", which in this context means hitting an area, waiting for doctors and firefighters to rush in to try to save the wounded and dying (who, again, very well could be innocent people), and then hit the area again to kill the first responders.

Saying that this is insane and immoral seems inadequate, but I can't think of anything else to say.

wtf, wars, politics
