More hoops!
I had dealt with considerable strangeness over the course of my life; the terminal was fairly high on the list, but hadn't actually made it to the top until now. Escalators appearing where I was absolutely certain that no escalators had been was certainly cheating somehow, I felt. Nevertheless, down I went.
I don't know what I was expecting, but what I found was exactly what I'd been finding all this time: part of a nearly normal airport. But the computers were sitting idle, not busy tracking flights, and no amount of probing would get them to reveal anything but one simple game.
This couldn't possibly be the Company's work. I couldn't imagine Bennet being involved in anything as completely, damnably pointless as this.
