"... get out of my DREAMS!!!..."
Ok, currently at Ty Ty's... cooking brownies and watching a movie movie... ate at Buca tonight and I forgot how absolutely amazing that place is!!! God we had so much fun. Helene tried to steal a piece of birthday cake from a table by us for Brianne and was shot down. Then Helene and I had a picture taken of us, with me eating spaghetti out of her boobs. Brianne got me a cozmo. Good times!
The last couple of days have been good and will continue as such I believe. This gala will be over (the gawdy event of our lives) after tomorrow, when we sign back-up for Carmen, the diva I love. Good times!
Today Mike Saffan made the mistake at the diner with me and Malinda of asking for another water because his "tasted funny".... and she brought back a gallon of water for him. And we laughed so hard that we cried and I snorted. Good times!
And then there's my boyfriend.... who makes me weep with happiness.... and obviously likewise. I chatted with Nairobe tonight and am SO happy that they are living together. Love her. Love him. Love brownies.
Sunday, my day off, will no doubt be enveloped by our first 490 paper which needs to have perfect Turabian citations... (anyone have that book?!)... and I have my first meeting of the Senate Student Affairs Committee. And ACT was today and it went so well! I am really happy with our direction this year. So every Theatre Major reading who is not a member, JOIN! Or at least join us at Theatre Community Night the 30th.
Aaron Kraus, SGA Prez was bugging President Mote about the voice of the students in campus governance at the State of the Campus address and, after much thought, while I am not completely supportive of Kraus' methods, I agree with his points... and I think that the way to have a definitive student voice is to get the scattered Undergrad Senators together into a Student Caucus of the Senate. So once I feel the waters at the Committee meeting and the next Senate meeting, that may be my next project of interest. (I also would LOVE to Music Direct Songs for a New World at KAT with Malinda! Hope that works out!)
Anywho... love and kisses... Tyler and Brianne are singing at the top of their lungs, better go put a stop to that.
Entry-ly Commentary
One of two new polls see Bush and Kerry in a dead-heat again... it gives me slightly more hope, but I still think Bush is the winner unless there is a drastic change of ignorance in America. A bunch of us saw Farenheit (sp?) 9/11 last night (my 2nd time)... it riled us up quite a bit. I am scared by a Bush victory in those few weeks to come. Legitamtely. "I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just..." (T. Jefferson... where'd the guys like him go?)
