Still alive....
Yes, it's been a while since I payed any attention to this thing. Quite frankly, I haven't had the time. The past two weeks have been a whirl wind of well....don't remember exactly....work, friends, and I think sleep is thrown somewhere in the mix.
I'm finally done with sales. Thank fucking god for that! Next year they will have to shove 1,000 sticks of dynamite under my ass to get me to do sales again....and even then I would still put up a fight....if I'm still there at all. I'm burnt out, people are assholes, plain and simple. The world doesn't appreciate photography as it use to be. These days everyone has their high tech high quality digital cameras and they believe that it makes them professional. I know as well as many of you know that it's not the case, but people believe what they want to, and people tend to want something for nothing. It's sad, but it's the way it is....a dying art. In any case, I'm not onto scheduling....and that's whole other story for another time. Trying not to think about it at the moment actually.....
What else is new? Hmmm. Well my sister is engaged. I had posted before that I was "jealous" and such, not any more. Really happy for her actually, like me, she's seen the worst and deserves the best....and I think she's found that. Rest of the family is doing good. Saw them along with the NJ crew a couple weekends ago. Everyone is doing well. Parents finally have a lawn at the new house, and a driveway. Mom can't stop talking about all the animals she sees now being literally in the woods....it's really cute. Dad's now itching to get a new puppy since Dar and Chad got one, can see it on his face....mom's hoping not. He misses Brandy thou.
Not much else new and exciting. Working hard for a job that doesn't deserve me, spending as much time with my friends as possible, holding on with both hands my piece of happiness that took me a decade to find. The usual. :)
