I told a couple of the girls in the office about the proposal/engagement, but I sure didn't expect what happened next! They got it around the department and organised an impromptu celebratory ice cream tea at 4pm. :)
We had Ben & Jerry's Chocolate Therapy, and then we stood around and talked about weddings (Anna's and Jenny's coming up in 2008), house-hunting and moving... and I received a good many well-wishes for the path ahead...
They wished us miracles of provision and favour, and qara (being at the right place at the right time), and for lots of fun and joy.
It's great being here, with this bunch, at this time. I wouldn't have it any other way. :)
