LOTR
I was quite impressed that I made it through the extended version of Fellowship last night in the theatre and only got up to pee once. I didn't even have to get dehydrated to pull it off. Would have been nice if the guys next to us had moved their legs more than an inch so I could get through, but I guess they wanted me to catch my balance using their knees. Don't people realize that turning sideways is counterproductive for me these days?
I'm not sure that seeing the extended Two Towers is going to be that easy tonight. I think it's even longer than Fellowship. I haven't gotten through the DVD version without getting up to stretch or starting to knit halfway through. Sitting still that long in the theatre might be too much. 3 1/2 hours is a freakishly long time to sit for a movie. And the concession stand closes shortly after our movie starts, so I couldn't even get popcorn to keep myself awake last night.
I am looking forward to Return of the King next week. These could be our last pre-baby movies, so maybe I should try harder to enjoy them.
