A friend and I had a lovely girls' day at the ballet this afternoon, free of hubbies and kiddos and it was just what the proverbial doctor ordered. My son's friend's mom came to pick my son up about 2:45 this afernoon. I was pleasantly surprised that she offered to have him stay for dinner because I thought the boys would play for a couple of hours and then I'd pick him up.
