So, I got back from school on the 7th of May I think and was happy to be back. It was good to see the fam but it soon got boring. I started caddying, spoke with Steve and was relieved to hear that all the cart barn positions were filled so I didn't have to do that. Got a bad rap from Gay Garnett, the club president's wife ("Hi, I'm Tyler, I'll be your caddy." "Hi, Tyler, I'm Gay." "Well, Ma'am, I'm not here to judge.") and got demoted from an A caddy to a B caddy even though I didn't know I'd been an A.
Went to Providence a few times to hang with Dylan as he partied between the end of finals and graduation. One night I got really trashed and was told that some ugly chic wanted me to go back and hook up with her. I was already really trashed and was like, "Oh, shit, I need a few more beers." Got tanked and went back, started hooking up, chic was a senior and either she was really inexperienced or I've got a great touch 'cause she was lovin' it. But then, all she would do is give me a HJ and I was like, "That's not going to work." When I realized she wouldn't do anything else, I bolted against her wishes. Procceeded to wander the streets of Providence searching for Dylan's dorm leaving numerous voicemails on his phone.
Another time in Prov. went to this senior picnic/slide show. I brought some gin or vodka or some gross shit and Dylan and I drank that. We went back to his room, got absolutely tanked off of jim beam I think then tried to use this guy's fake to get into a bar. Got turned down and later on realized that the fake I was using was the worst ever made. I could've been more successful with a watercolor picture of my house.
Eventually, around the time Emily came, I got into exercising again.
The final full weekend in May was Greg's marriage to Robin. It was cute even though it was raining. turns out Robin's got a handful of hot girls right around my age on her side of the fam except that they're the JAP type so didn't talk with them much. Actually, Robin's 13 y/o daughter is unfortunately a very cute girl in the dangerous way. Stone me now.
The reception was nice but kind of boring. I had to stay sober and drive people around. Afterwards I had to drive my fam to the Watch Hill in to drink and socialize with people for an hour which sucked. Dylan tried hard to be the ringleader which made me cringe but he seems to like that kind of stuff so that's fine I guess. Talked with this guy who likes UCONN about how much Geno sucks and about Duke and college hoops. Went to Destiny's friend's house for a while and talked to Erica Staats. on the phone for a while which I enjoyed a lot. I actually wanted to talk with her a lot which is sort of a reversal and it was really nice to speak to a member of the group in person not on IM. Will was hammered even though earlier in the night he'd told me he was going to stop drinking.
The next morning it was raining but we had brunch at this phenomenal house overlooking East Beach. Beforehand I had an argument with Mom, 1) because she thought we'd be early showing up at eleven although I was starving and 2) the fact that she and Dylan had decided on naming the puppy we're going to get Gatsby on their own without letting me in on the conversation. Food was good, talked with Will for a while and joked and laughed a lot. That was fun.
*Oh yeah, about Destiny's wedding, I talked with Greg and Tom for a bit and they were telling me stories about how they used to smoke weed in the basement of Bayswater and how Grammy found the "Pot bottle" and all the names they had for people. Funny shit.
Finally went and partied with Adrian this past weekend. After Wildman's graduation party Saturday afternoon (I went to his graduation the previous Saturday in the rain before going down to the wedding) I drove up to Brighton and we chilled for a while before going to his friends' house (Olivia and one of his old roommates). Drank some red bull and vodkas then started tanking on beer. There were some cute girls there. There was this one who seemed to be digging me who was talking with me with a guy to her right from San Fran who I assumed was her gay friend but it turned out was her b/f. Her friend was gorgeous and was pretty interested in talking to me too and we chatted for a while but later on in the night she was more interested in Adrian. I think he could've tagged her but he wasn't sure.
Had some fun, Adrian had me kissing a bunch of chics and we were taking a bunch of pictures which turned out funny. At one point I recognized that there were a group of guys sitting off to one side of the lounge type room who were the losers and I told myself to never end up there but at one point I sat down there anyway because I was starting to get the "We're all older than 25 and you're only 19 vibe" from the crowd. But it picked up when AD told me to go kiss Olivia who is a cute little girl from New Zealand. He coerced her into it then she started spilling her guts telling me I was good looking and sexy and I had amazing eyes and that she wanted to ask me to stay but "the age gap is too big." So I was like, I understand and I made out with her and AD took a picture and we hung around for a little while longer as it died down.
We left and Adrian was going to drive but he was obviously annihilated so I took the keys instead. I wasn't sober, definitely DUI, but I was confident I could drive fine and I did. Adrian was being ridiculous. We picked up Katie from her place 'cause she'd been at Foxwoods winning $300. Back to Adrian's apt. went to sleep, slept, woke up, went home, chilled, went to RI.
Dad and I visited Grampie in the hospital because he's got compression fractures in his back. It's the worst condition I've ever seen him in and it was a little upsetting. He couldn't complete his thoughts, he kept confusing things and thinking he should be doing things he shouldn't. It was because he was heavily drugged to dull the pain but it was still unsettling. I kept fighting with myself because I figured I should be totally calm and cool and helpful and talk to him as if there was nothing wrong but I was just really uncomfortable and only wanted to leave which made me feel guilty. Had dinner with Grammie at Shelter Harbor, I think she enjoyed it.
Came back yesterday for the JP Morgan outing at Kittansett but Dick (caddymaster) swindled me and took a bag out of my hands after I'd already started my round and gave it to some old scrub who hasn't been here at all this year. That pissed me off because I've been there most days and I showed up way before this guy did yesterday but he still got my bag and deprived me $60 at least. Not to mention the guy's really loud and annoying and a slob who doesn't tie his bib and spits on the green constantly right in front of the players and swears and calls them by their first name. I don't care if he's got a lot of experience and works in FLA too, I deserved that double more than he deserved a single.
So, that's about it. My next posts should be edits of my Froshlife entries.
