i brought the twins into preschool today and came home and forced myself to finish off the school newsletter. It ended up being 6 pages and I have still to put in some small graphics and little touches. It was getting to be as painful as a term paper you have put off and put off.
Vibes must have been in the air that I was feeling shitty and lonely because someone i had met a couple years ago and ran into at playgroups and at the library and such called out of the blue and invited me over. She is also home with a nearly 4 year old and a 5 mos. old and is sick of being home alone. It would be nice to have someone to hang with occasionally...although this may mean i might have to clean my house.
I took a cold pill yesterday and had a couple beers and i zonked out at 9:30 right at the beginning of the new Family Guy. My mom called and jerked me completely out of a dead sleep and I couldn't tell if it was morning or night.
I am watching an odd little documentary about new wave techno music in Sheffield England in the late 70's and early 80's. Just people from the scene talking. sometimes simplicity is nice.
