What are spoilers?

When I think of spoiled I think two different things.  The first is that of a spoiled brat child who cries and whines and throws themselves on the floor until they get what they want.  Something that if my sons did would get them nothing and probably punished.

I also think of spoiled as something rancid or bad.

I remember last year before Deathly ( Read more... )

I'm still clinging to the hope that it's fake. Because I felt cheated. I felt as though she went against everything she had told us and believed in, just to make a buck.

I hope you are right because right now I do feel cheated.

Nothing about the characterisations seem right. The plot is comepletely out there, although very unoriginal and I honestly don't think we have anything to worry about.

She said she wrote a parody of sorts. Maybe this was her way to stop the spoilers, by putting the parody out there.

Found you browsing a friends list. I agree completely. If this is real - and I'm hoping it's not - I will definitely feel cheated. With HP, you kind of knew what to expect. JKR was upfront with ships, and even some plotlines. If the spoilers are real, SM will have pretty much screwed her fans through a technicality. And I'm almost positive the majority of her fans will be PISSED. Even the crazed fangirls.

Hi there-it has been a while!

So, how did you feel about Breaking Dawn in the end? I am very mixed, had some great moments, but I found it too difficult to ignore the break-down in common sense and reason. The plot just went to all these wild and crazy places that I could not wrap my head around. And Jacob imprinting on Nessie? Major thumbs down for me :(

Hey its great to see you are still around. I have to say that I am now over the Twilight series. I won't say I hated Breaking Dawn, but I was disappointed. It definitely had its great moments. Loved the back and forth between Jake and Rose. That may have been my favorite parts in the book. I wasn't disappointed by the lack of graphic sex like many are but I was disappointed with the graphic descriptions of some nasty stuff. I actually gagged in some places lol. The whole Volturri thing was just a huge let down---all the build up for nothing. Jake imprinting on Nessie skeeved me out. And her name was I was like WTF??? I have read Twilight and Eclipse dozens of time but don't think I will be reading Breaking Dawn again for awhile. Too sad. I will tell you I found another series of books about vampires and it is awesome. If you haven't read them I HIGHLY recommend you do. It is the Black Dagger Brotherhood---first book is called Dark Lover and they are by J.R. Ward. You will be HOOKED. So far there are six books in the ( ... )

Talk about curing a fandom of its obsession, SM definitely found a way to do that. The more I think about the book and all of the plot holes, the more annoyed I get. IA with everything you posted. Seeing her in interviews is even worse because she is so condescending and will not concede in any way that perhaps there were some issues with the book. It is us dumb readers who did not pick up on all the clues she has laid out *eyeroll*

Thanks for the rec-I will definitely check those books out!

I completely agree with this. At least JKR had the grace to simply not talk about stuff that would give away her plot; SM actually told lies. Not cool.
