So yeah... all that fanart I said I was getting to? I lied. SUE ME ALITA D:
On the other hand MiniAnimania was on last saturday so I thought I should post some pretty for people to look at. And update in life in general.
The amount of people cosplaying and the level (even for a small con) impressed me greatly. Everyone seems to have upped their game, which is good for the community. Although now it means I have to try harder, and I'm already lazy enough as it is D:
Me and the hot wifey alita_b_angel (above) cosplayed as Yuki and Shuichi from Gravitation, and pretty much killed any dignity that we may have had by doing a yaoi skit. with handcuffs. and panties. and CORN.
Not saying we HAD any dignity to begin with, but I like to think there was a time in my life when I was blissfully unaware of such a thing as public self-humiliation lol.
Who did I happen upon outside but the pimpmasters Catty and Tsubaki, pimpin' that shit oh yeaaaaaah. They're so pimpin' they need a conjoined name. I now like to refer to them as Tsucatty. Or Cattbaki. OR CATTSU. OMG SO MANY VARIATIONS... *gets distracted*
Then in the foyer I came across some hot little cosplayers. Isn't she cute as a button?
This Shinku cosplayer made me wish I didn't play with dinosaurs and lego so much when I was a kid. I got my first barbie in year 5 O_o
If only I knew who Britt was cosplaying as, so awesome and looks familiar but I cant pick it. Curse me and my non-knowledgeability >_<
Miyu's costume was so much cooler in retrospect, when I actually looked up the character and found out she was dressing as a dude dressing as a girl XD
A hot female joker. Her make up was ridiculously good.
Aaaaaand my favourite little communist XDDD Rinne chan! She makes me wish I was interested in Hetalia, I wanted to bundle her up and kidnap her and her adorable panda >:D fortunately for her I'm not that into going head-to-head with giant 4 bazillion people-populated economic-powerhouse land masses that could crush me with their pinkie :(
Kamui and Fuuma from X/1999. These dudes are so awesome and I'm so glad they went through to the next WCS round.
And then I continued up the stairs and found this pair on the stairway, they look so happy its like they embody the spirit of cosplay at animania. Until I told the girl on the right I didnt know anything about KH2 or Bleach, then she kind of cried...
Shoe made me lol hard with his dick-in-a-box cosplay. It had a censor bar in the actual box, AND a hole where said appendage should go.
A hot Cloud cosplayer. Look at those guns. and chiseled features. and leather. *ahem* yes...
WEEEEEEE for size!kink :D mmmmm so tall....
This Rikku was also tall. and cool. In fact so tall and cool I had to resize the picture to a stupidly small size wtf? *goes to inspect photobucket picture*
A cute tokyo mew mew cosplay, I was quite impressed with her tail. It bounced as she walked :P
Hot Will is Hot. He's so hot he's on fire. In fact, that giant grey smudge in the bottom right corner isnt a smudge at all, its actually smoke coming from the invisible flames of hotness that he is projecting XD (or I fail at photography, but obviously this isnt the case)
This girl was so cute I had to put her in here. Yet another cosplay I dont recognise... *SIGH*
Its Pikachu! And by that I mean the chick who in 2007 went to Main Animania dressed in a Pikachu hoodie that she made herself, and recognised alita and my Arashi cosplay and later saw us at macdonalds (where at the time we were envisioning our future haku-dragon costume and trying desperately to hide our napkin-scribbles, but I dont think she noticed lol)
And then I went out into the balcony where all the forum-goers were hanging out and came across Belle dressed as Chi. Those ruffles made me envious. Kawaii des!
And her beau, Kamui I think it is. Whereby I then found out he is currently going to my old highschool's brother school, and we had this mad massive conversation about how gay Tech is lolololol. All the boys I know that have come out of that school have participated in the gay sometime or other, for much lols on my part.
These two were also madcool. Or mool XD I think it was Ryu and Yaz... but yet again FAIL at recognising the anime *CRIES BIG FAT TEARS*
Another really cool costume. Man, I gotta find more words than cool. Or awesome. Or cute.

The kickarse Ouendan Team, who won both Best Skit and Best Group. So deserved it too. The skit is on youtube somewhere but I'm too lazy to find it. Plus, its 3am in the morning. YES, this post is taking me hours to upload, QUIT LOOKING AT ME LIKE THAT, I'm SLOW DDD:
Meanwhile alita ran off to sing Gravitation songs in the karaoke room (her DREAM), while I pestered every single cosplayer within a 5km radius for their contact details for my research paper. Except this guy. I just wanted to take a photo of him coz I was like LOL TEKKEN SOMETHING I RECOGNISE!! I was seriously happy when I guessed and he said "yes you're right". And NO, I didn't cheat and JUST say Tekken, I said Tekken FOUR.
Also hiding outside the karaoke room were these yaoi fanboys. They were waiting for alita to sing :P they were so cool, they had a talk to me
about yaoi and cosplay and the Kisami guy (who's not in this photo) kept hugging me and leaving blue flakes on me that alita kept having to brush off and was all "waaaah you're making my yuki dirtyyyy". I've never had fanboys stalking me before lol.
OH LOOKEE HERE, LOOK WHAT I FOUND LOLOLOLOLOLOL.
ACEY! If I'd known you guys were hanging outside I would've come out sooner, instead of only seeing you for the last half hour.

So yeah, thats about it. Not much is happening irl, I'm still getting raped by uni assignments and worrying about gettin a job. The only new thing is I got a bf. He's Korean, which isn't a big surprise *has yellow fever plague*. And no, he doesn't know about my cosplay-double life (yet) and what I get up to with alita D: can't wait til I break the yaoi thing to him lol.
