Pépé and I have been together for some time now. And I'll miss him. After having a fish for so long (a couple years) its not just the same anymore.

I'm sure I'll get another one sometime, but I'll have to go searching for the right one.

Pépé you will be missed.

I had a sad snippet of a dream last night...

I dreamed that I went home and all my goldfish were still alive. It was such a great moment.. apparently the ones she though were dead were just unconscious, so when they poured more water into the tank, they all came back to life.

It rather saddening waking up and realizing life isn't that easy.

Mom called today.. another of the Toffs is dying T_T I can't do anything because I'm not home. I'm thankful for the rents trying to help, but nothing beats being home with the Toffs... Ya know, I'm the care taker, i can tell the moment something goes wrong.. I will stay up til 5am to change the water and wash the gravel when something gosh wrong ( Read more... )

So, went to the fish store to do all that fun prepping for college stuff. Getting stuff so my mom doesn't go insane. I'm setting up the goldfish tank so it's nice and easy for her to take care of and keep the Toffs alive while I'm away. Kichi has passed. She's Been around for quite some time so it's was probably about time she went. Last night I could tell she was going.. She'd been really lazy lately.

In case I failted to mention it before.. I have two new gold fish (after the passing of all 8 of the original toffs). These look healthy and thriving. I've also realized.. gold fish by far aren't the smartest fish in the world. They in no way seem to have the sensibility to compare to the bettas.. In case you've forgetten or just weren't paying attention, the Toffs is the collective name of my 9 - 1 goldfish. Today, I went and made an over 50$investment inthe lil ones. I came home today from work around 6:30pm. Noticed some gravel sitting on the table. Said to self, hrmm mom must be changing the fish tanks.. why? Just did it 2 weeks ago. When i woke up this morning.. both fish were on the SAME side of the divider.. For anyone that knows anything about bettas.. This is BAD. Kichia wandered into pepe's size some how. I immediately scooped her out and returned he to her side.. but she definitely seems to still be in shock. T_T
