Sequin Santa things!
1. Names were drawn this morning - did anyone get anyone they weren't meant to? I always stress out that when I'm changing the settings for people who want to opt out of non-friendslist people I've missed someone. PM me if you have.
1a. Also, if you can't match the name you drew to a LJ username, let me know. Better yet, send it as a secret question on Elfster, so I don't know who you are!
2. Please put some ideas in your wishlist, especially if you didn't opt out of non-friendslist people and some poor stranger is stuck staring at your LJ profile trying to work out what you might like.
3. The exchange date (Dec 10) is a recommended post-by date, but if you drew someone who lives in a far-off land, please double check with your Christmas cut-off dates with your local post office.
3a. Similarly, if you drew someone who lives a couple of towns over, you leave it a bit later, I guess.
4. This is a new rule, that I always mean to make a rule but forget to mention until someone breaks it. No telling who your Sequin Santa was until Christmas Day. It makes the process of elimination easier for everyone else. You can post about what you got and how delighted you are, and you really should send them a private thank you, but keep their name off your journal.
5. This is almost 4a, but would anyone be up for a round of hints? Half the fun of Secret Santa is the guessing, after all.
