I also hate putting gas in my car. I bet most people do. :) It's 2.35 a gallon here. Argh.

Gas is rather cheap here, thankfully, compared to the rest of the country, but the truck sucks on gas mileage. I want an itty-bitty car again!

A friend of mine who lives on the south coast near the Channel Tunnel said it was actually cheaper for him to get a late afternoon day return ticket on the tunnel to France and do his shopping and fill up his car once a week than it was in the UK.
Crazy or what?
I had to buy petrol at a Motorway service area last weekend, and that was almost 89 pence a litre, which would be £4/gallon ($8)

Right now it's 2.12 a gallon in this part of Wisconsin. I'm waiting for it to get higher though.
