is the one word that pops right to mind, but that's not really right. There's a lot of different things being shown on
the guys with iphones (not remotely safe for work) site; I must admit I found it interesting. Could use more bears page, tho.
Social IM whore that I am, I must admit to haven taken a shine to
the iPhone Grindr app (iTunes link), tho I do have concerns over it's stalking capabilities- it'll narrow ranges between you n your 'prey' down to 100s of feet, which is not bad for most urban environments, but might lead to serious problems in the homo hating hinterlands, I think. Even so, I like poking at it while driving cross Texas, just to see what can be seen, so to speak, but I'm also a bit nonplussed over how around where I live, it's mostly younger (expected) and latino (surprise!) fellas hanging around. The eye candy can be nice... IMing is an old habit for me, tho especially odd that I stick to it, given that I have very few friends these days who use any manner of IM to contact me.
I went camping with my friend Ric this weekend to his discreet little hideaway out in East Texas, and sure enough, there was some serious sausage festing going on by midnight on the first day, right out on the front porch of his camper, even. Of course, I was already in bed, tho I did get up to change the tracks on the sound system when the music stopped- s'an ingrained BearHug habit, that. To be jaded by 43.. sigh. The rest of the weekend was quite quiet, due to rain, hangovers, or whatever, tho we did the usual Saturday morning breakfast run out to a little country diner (where we discreetly eyed rednecks in their natural habitat & cracked gay jokes with the waitresses), swam in the pool a bit (ours is warmer, but needing some work as the chlorine generator failed), and in general had fun. I even got chatted up on Grindr by a nearby straight edged heavy metal band member whos into husky guys and is all of 23- funny old world indeed, je?
