Nothing to say really.
Fun: trying to re-digitalise my copies of Bronski und Bernstein for sharing and vidding thereof. Videopad doesn't like .wmv format fuckit. But I HAS COPIES IT WERKED. More on that in the appropriate forum in due course.
Work: special-needs kids off to Big School, which leaves us overstaffed in Preschool, which combined with shortages in other rooms means Muggins 'ere is the Go Where You're Put Person for the foreseeable future. Not impressed but no point banging on about it.
Study: all marks in - won't find out unit result for a few weeks tho' - wut. Last term finished last Friday; next term starts on Monday. Spending far too much of my one week off playing Angry Birds :) Next week is Play and Pedagogy (yay) and... Something Developmental-centric. Should be interesting as well as intense.
Family: Dad up and down, sister needs break, nephew discovering high school requires somewhat thicker skin than he's had so far.
Home: no bushwalk news as J. off with bad back. Still, found a lot of lovely fungi down the paddock, best of which is OUR VERY OWN BOLETES YO. Quite stoked about them. Tentatively figure: Suillus granulatus (?)
And
this little pretty, whose friends have not as I had hoped grown up to be like
the as yet unidentified one I found on New Year's Eve. Lovely nonetheless; lots now emerging under cypresses. Goes a lovely red-pink when bruised or cut...
ETA: poddling about on
Franmart's blog, found a link to Macrolepiota dolichaula, his description of which sounds a lot like the
New Year's Eve find. Images
here. Thoughts, anyone? I've had no more luck with it...
