Library words
So on a whim I visited urbandictionary.com to see what the site defined about my profession. Here are some of the more interesting/colorful entries:
“Library”
A place to borrow books for free. It is not pronounced "lie-berry"

An awesome place that is underrated in today's society. Think about it - where else can you chill in an air-conditioned place, that's quiet, where you can read a cool mag or surf the net, where you can take a nap, check out movies, meet some friends for a game of chess or cards, read about whatever you like, get free bookmarks, talk to some fine librarians, walk around aimlessly, find out how glow-in-the-dark works..... and all for free!
Dude 1: "Man, it's hot and humid outside. There's nothing to do in here. Dang I'm bored."
Dude 2: "How about we go to the library?"
Dude 1: "Man that sounds boring."
Dude 2: "Seriously, just try it. I'll show you some cool stuff over there."
Dude 1: "OK... we'll see."
..............1 month later
Dude 1: "Hey man let's go to the library. Come on man get up."
Dude 2: "But we just came back from there 2 hours ago."
Dude 1: "Dude, that's a long time!"
A place where you can borrow CDs, DVDs, software, and books for free! And best of all, you don't have to worry about giving your money to evil greedy organizations such as the RIAA or MPAA OR getting sued by them!
Now that I get all my movies from the library, I don't have to worry about my money going to the MPAA or getting sued by them!

A librarian is a person who is trained to help you find whatever information you might be looking for. Many people have an outdated stereotype of a librarian as an unmarried middle-aged woman who only cares about keeping kids away from her dusty old books. The truth, however, is that librarians come in all shapes, sizes, genders and ages; more important, librarians today are trained in Web design, online research (believe it or not, there's far more out there besides Google and Wikipedia), networking, and the latest Web 2.0 technologies. Books are still a huge part of the job, but librarians these days know far more about technology than most people, and are taught exactly how to use it to help you find what you need.

a strange and unfathomable quality that some women possess. the ability to look amazingly attractive in traditionally very conservative clothes such as heavy sweaters, thick framed glasses and severe tied back hair styles. librarian hot women are almost always seen with a thick book of some kind often can be used about female love interests in romantic comedies before their big makeover. the beauty is there, they're just not dressed glamorously.
that chick over there is so librarian hot.
